Warta and CMT partner to launch safe driving program, Warta4U

Telematics

The program will begin by focusing on young drivers, providing them feedback on risk factors like speed, acceleration, braking, cornering, and phone distraction while driving.

Warta4U is currently available in four provinces in Poland and will be available nationwide by the end of the third quarter of this year. The Warta4U app is available to download on the App Store and Google Play exclusively for Warta customers enrolled in the Warta4U program.

Jarosław Niemirowski, vice president of the management board of Warta, noted how the partnership with CMT will help Warta improve customer safety and reduce the number of crashes in Poland. He says: “CMT provides insurers with valuable insights to assess risks more effectively. Usage-based motor insurance is the future, and we plan to expand our offering to other customer groups soon.”

The program uses telematics technology to collect data on driving behaviour. This data is then used to calculate a risk score, which is used to determine the level of discount that a driver receives on their insurance premium.

Warta4U is designed to help young drivers learn about their risky behaviours and drive safer. The program also provides drivers with feedback on their driving habits, which can help them improve their driving skills and reduce their risk of collisions.

The launch of Warta4U is a significant development in connected insurance. The program has the potential to help young drivers to become safer drivers, and it could also help to reduce the number of motor crashes in Poland.
