Zurich partners with insurtech Qover to expand embedded insurance capabilities

Digital transformation and the future of GRC

As a part of this collaboration, Zurich is also participating in Qover’s Series C funding round through Zurich Global Ventures. This move underscores Zurich’s commitment to expanding its distribution channels and providing innovative insurance products and services to customers seamlessly and on time.

Qover, founded in 2016 with a mission to simplify the future of insurance, offers a technology-enabled distribution platform that enables businesses to integrate customised insurance products into their digital experiences quickly and easily. Their platform provides global coverage through a single integration and operates in 32 European markets.

Jack Howell, CEO of Zurich Global Ventures, highlighted Qover’s customer-centric approach, emphasising the company’s ability to understand and cater to customers’ needs for simplicity and convenience in obtaining insurance.

Howell believes that the combination of Qover’s “know-how about embedded insurance” and Zurich’s “long-standing expertise and global footprint” is a “win-win for distribution partners and customers.”

Quentin Colmant, CEO and co-founder of Qover, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that the collaboration would enable them to “push boundaries and provide businesses and individuals with even more convenient and timely protection in an ever-changing world.”
